Renewing the Heart of Your Organization: Staff Development & Burnout Prevention
Is your team feeling the weight of the “grind”? In mission-driven work, our greatest asset is our collective energy—yet that energy is often the first thing to deplete. I am offering tailored trainings and workshops designed to move your organization from exhaustion to sustainable inspiration.
My approach integrates practical strategy with holistic wellness to ensure your staff doesn’t just last, but thrives.
What I Offer
I provide interactive sessions focused on three core pillars of organizational health:
• Stress Reduction & Burnout Prevention: Moving beyond “band-aid” solutions. We explore the physiology of stress and implement nervous system regulation tools that work in real-time.
• Optimizing Team Dynamics: Cultivating a culture of psychological safety, clear communication, and relational intelligence to reduce friction and increase flow.
• Sustainable Self-Care & Career Longevity: Designing personalized “sustainability blueprints” that help individuals reclaim their passion and stay in the work for the long haul.
Why This Matters
Healthy teams produce better results, but more importantly, they foster a culture of dignity and joy. Whether you are a non-profit, a creative collective, or a corporate team, these workshops provide the space to breathe, recalibrate, and reconnect with the “why” behind your work.

About Lisa

Founder Free Heart Community LLC
Transforming Caregiving
As an Occupational Therapy Practitioner since 2005, I have loved my work across the spectrum of psychiatric care—from pediatrics to geriatrics. This extensive experience inspired the creation of Free Heart Community LLC, a program committed to enhancing team dynamics and individual well-being for frontline caregivers.
My work is founded on the principle that “stabilization” is not just a clinical goal for the client but a necessary state for the caregiver. I support teams in navigating the complexities of compassion fatigue and sustaining well-being by integrating traditional mental health practices and occupational science with somatic healing, meditation, and trauma-informed responses.
Areas of focus include:
- Crisis Prevention & Stabilization
- Somatic and Sensory Healing
- Yoga and Functional Health
- Caregiver Wellness Programming
- Group Facilitation
- Women’s Wellness Retreats and Monthly Membership Program

I graduated from North Shore Community College with an Associate of Science in Occupational Science and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts. I then went on to Salem State University, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.
I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher certification through YogaLife Institute. I hold certifications in addressing ADHD and managing Compassion Fatigue from PESI, and I am a former trainer at the Crisis Prevention Institute. Additionally, I have completed a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training at UMASS. I currently serve as a Mental Health board member for the New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Association.
